Started her career as business development at IBM Indonesia, with her consistent track record she was selected as “The Best ASEAN Sales Representative” from IBM ASEAN and achieved the highest award “IBM Golden Circle” from IBM Worldwide in 2008. In 2009, Maya continued her career as business development, received “Microsoft Share Fighter Award” from Microsoft Asia Pacific and won “Young Women Future Business Leader” competition from business magazine SWA then she moved to the Business Group Head at Marketing & Operations Department in Microsoft Indonesia. During her tenure, she was able to scale up the business to 250% and grew rapidly compared to the competitors.
In 2014, Maya decided to continue her career at one of the biggest Indonesian local conglomerates. Joined Gunung Sewu Group, Maya acted as Associate Director, Market Development & Head of (Strategic Business Unit) Office and reported directly to the Owner. At a young age, Maya was responsible for developing business units and she was also trusted by the owner to execute various strategic functions. Along with the rapid growth of start-ups in Indonesia, in January 2019, Maya joined Qlue as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to give contribution to the start-up’s world in Indonesia. By August 2019, she took both roles CCO & COO and in March 2021 got appointed as President to lead organizational restructuring to aim for the best smart city ecosystem provider in the country and region. Her experiences proved that by end of December 2020, Qlue achieved 70% YoY revenue growth, along with 90% YoY for number of clients and 200% YoY for activations business partners. Since Dec 2022, Maya decides to join back Microsoft Indonesia as Public Sector & Education Director.
Other than working, Maya loves writing, reading, teaching, sports, and traveling. Writing her 1st book “Career First”, Maya is also a blog contributor for “profession” forum in Kaskus and radio host for “Women Career” program. She actively gives lectures and seminars about career & soft skills and becomes the mentor at Young on Top community. Taking her coaching and mentorship skills seriously, Maya joined a certification program for Professional and Executive Coach in 2017-2018.
Maya’s previous activities include Abang None Jakarta (Jakarta Beauty Pageant) jury and mentor for three areas: Marketing, Public Relation and Public Speaking. Abang None Kepulauan Seribu and South Jakarta won the general championship in 2016, 2017, 2019 and also won the None Jakarta category for three years in a row: 2016, 2017, and 2018. Nowadays Maya actively becomes an executive coach, speaker on webinars, podcast audio application and trainer in multiple training.
